Thnks has built a Google Chrome extension to allow you to send a Thnks, or multiple Thnks, right from within your Gmail account.
How to use the Thnks Chrome Extension:
Download the Thnks chrome extension here.
Click on the <t> icon in the top right portion of your Chrome browser and login to your Thnks account (or create a new one). Note: if you do not see the <t> at first please log out and back in of your Gmail account and refresh your browser.
Click compose new email in Gmail and input your recipient's email as you would normally Note: you can only send a Thnks to one recipient at a time via the extension.
Click on the <t> icon on the bottom bar of your newly composed email or click the <t> (may only be visible with the email window fully expanded). If it's still not there you can select it from your extensions list.
The Thnks categories will be displayed on the right hand side - from there you can scroll through the categories and search for the perfect Thnks!
Once you have selected your Thnks you can confirm your details and hit the 'Purchase' button - this will embed the Thnks right into the body of your email in order to send directly to your recipient.
Compose your message just like a normal email with the Thnks included in the body of your email and send away!
Note: All Thnks sent via the Chrome extension will be marked as opened automatically on send but you will still get a real-time update of redemption when redemption takes place.
