What is MFA?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) refers to an additional layer of security that is added to the login process.

MFA relies on two forms of authentication: something you know, and something you have access to. The something you know is your password. The something you have access to, in our case, is your mobile device or your email account. This means that even if your password is compromised, your account will remain secure.

Currently, all Team Admins are required to have MFA set up on their account.

Thnks also offers Single Sign-On (SSO) for organizations on our Enterprise(+) plan level. Organizations with SSO enabled are exempt from the MFA requirement. For more information on configuring SSO, please contact your Thnks account manager, support@thnks.com, or solutions@thnks.com.
