What is my User Balance?

  • The User Balance is where the value of Thnks items that have been refunded will be sent. You can then use that balance to send Thnks.

  • In your Itemized Receipt, you will see the “User Balance” label displayed for each refund.

  • If you have received refunds, you will find Your Balance on the profile page listed under your Itemized Receipt. If you do not have any value in your User Balance, it will not appear on your profile page.

How does it work?

  • You will receive the value of your refunded Thnks from the previous 30 days on the 10th of each month.

  • On the 10th of each month, you will also receive an email letting you know which of your Thnks have been refunded to your balance.

  • Any value that you have in your balance will be utilized first to pay for new Thnks that you purchase, followed by your chosen method of payment should the value of your Thnks exceed the value in your balance.

How do my Thnks get refunded to my User Balance?

  • As a sender you will be charged for the cost of your chosen item upon sending your Thnks.

  • If the Thnks is undelivered due to a bounced recipient email address, you will be immediately notified via email and your Thnks will be expired and refunded in full to your original form of payment.

  • Once opened, Thnks are no longer eligible for a refund and will expire if unredeemed after 365 days.

  • For Individual users, Thnks items that remain unopened after 30 days will be expired and refunds will be issued to the sender’s User Balance.

  • Refunds for Thnks items that remain unopened after 30 days will be processed and returned to the sender on the 10th of every month.

    • Example: If you send a Thnks on February 15th, and it is still unopened 30 days later on March 15th, Thnks will hold the refund and process it on April 10th, along with any other refunds from the past month.

    • Refunding on the 10th of each month simplifies expense reporting by batching refunds together.
