What is my User Balance?

A User Balance is a pool of money that has been assigned to a User on Thnks.

  • This can occur through the following:

    • Individual Users who receive refunds from unopened Thnks to their User Balance

    • Via a balance adjustment where a Team or Enterprise Admin or member of the Thnks Team specifically adds funds to a User's Balance.

    • Via a balance addition within your user profile

  • In your Itemized Receipt, you will see the “User Balance” label displayed

How do I add to my User Balance?

  • Navigate to your user profile

  • Select "Add to Balance"

  • Enter in your card details for payment and select the amount you are wanting to add (Minimum $10, increments in $5 amounts- scroll within the dropdown menu for a higher amount)

    • If a card is on file, you will be able to select it for payment.

  • Click "Add," and you will see the amount reflected in your User Balance.

To view further details regarding this, view How to Add Funds to Your User Balance.

How do my Thnks get refunded to my User Balance?

  • As a sender you will be charged for the cost of your chosen item upon sending your Thnks.

  • If the Thnks is undelivered due to a bounced recipient email address, you will be immediately notified via email and your Thnks will be expired and refunded in full to your original form of payment.

  • For Individual users, Thnks items that remain unopened after 30 days will be expired and refunds will be issued to the sender’s User Balance.

  • Refunds for Thnks items that remain unopened after 30 days will be processed and returned to the sender on the 10th of every month.
