Admin Dashboard

The Admin Dashboard is a real-time reporting dashboard that populates for Team Admins under https://app.thnks.com/#/analytics/admin. This dashboard shows Team Admins the activity of their Team and any Child Teams under them.

Only teams that are Pro Level or above will have access to an Admin Dashboard.

Balance (Team)

A Balance (sometimes called a Pre-Paid Balance) is a pool of money that has been pre-paid by a Client and assigned to the corresponding Team in Thnks.

If a Pre-Paid Balance is a Team's primary form of payment then each Thnks sent will draw down from that balance, and as the balance gets depleted the Customer can be re-charged to increase their balance.

Balance (User)

A User Balance is a pool of money that has been assigned to a corresponding User on Thnks. This can occur 1) for Individual Users who receive refunds from Unopened Thnks to their User Balance and 2) via a Balance Adjustment where a Pro or Enterprise team Admin or member of the Thnks Team specifically adds funds to a User's Balance.. By default, a User Balance will be drawn down from before any other form of payment method on the User's account.

Note: Team and User Balances will automatically expire after 1 year if the account has been completely inactive for that period of time.

Balance Report

The Balance Report is a report that is sent to Team Admins on the 1st of each month that gives them a summary of the balance changes, payments and refunds for their team covering the prior month. Team Admins can also access any of their prior monthly Balance Reports from their Thnks profile.

Note: This report will only be emailed to Team Admins if that Team is on the Balance payment method.

Chrome Extension

The Chrome Extension is a software program that allows Customers to install Thnks on their Chrome browser. This enables them to send a Thnks straight from their Gmail, LinkedIn, or any place they are on Chrome.

Child Team

A Child Team is a team that is connected with a Parent Team in Thnks. The Parent Team sits above the child team and Team Admins of the Parent Team can view activity and control settings of any Child Team below them. There is no limit to the number of Parent and Child Teams that can be connected to one another in Thnks. Child Teams can have their own form of payment method or they can inherit the payment method of their Parent Team.

Committed Funds

Committed Funds are a non-refundable spend commitment made by a new Customer once they agree to a Pro or Enterprise Level on Thnks.

Committed Funds are paid via the Implementation Form that is filled out by the Customer in order to close the deal and begin their Team set up.

These funds will be drawn down as Thnks are sent by any member of that Team and once depleted the Team will use an alternate payment method (Pre-Paid Balance or credit card) in order to continue sending Thnks. These funds are non-refundable and typically begins at $1,500 at the Pro Level.

Enterprise Level

The Enterprise Level is the highest level assigned to a Team, which provides that Team with access to the entire business feature set.

Plan level feature details here.

Note: A Team can upgrade from Pro to Enterprise. Simply reach out to your team's account manager or support@thnks.com for more information.

Itemized Receipt

The Itemized Receipt is a feature that is available to Thnks Customers to allow them to view all of their purchases by line item. The Itemized Receipt breaks out the Thnks name, Item Price, Transaction Fee, Quantity and Total. Any Customer can pull their Itemized Receipt over any specified time period from their profile, and Team Admins can pull an Itemized Receipt for their whole team from the Admin Tab on the web platform.

Note: Receipts are also emailed to each Customer immediately following a purchase by default. These emails come from order@thnks.com, and can be disabled for a Customer or Team as needed.

Implementation Form

The Implementation Form is a form that is sent by sales to a potential Customer before they are on-boarded under a Pro or Enterprise Level on Thnks.

The form prompts them to input their company information and payment for their initial Committed Funds according to the level they are receiving. This form is not a legal contract.

Opened

Opened is the point in a Transaction where the Thnks sent by the sender has been received and opened by the Recipient.

For Thnks sent via email the Opened state occurs when the Thnks email (or any subsequent reminder email) is opened by the Recipient.

For Thnks via SMS, the Opened state occurs when the Thnks link in the SMS is actually clicked open by the Recipient.

Note: Thnks sent via the Chrome Extension are automatically marked as Opened after they are sent since Thnks is unable to track the open on these Transactions.

Parent Team

A Parent Team is a Team that has one or multiple Child Teams under them in Thnks. Team Admins of the Parent Team can view activity and control settings of any Child Teams under them. There is no limit to the number of Parent and Child Teams that can be connected to one another in Thnks.

Pro Level

The Pro Level is the 2nd highest level assigned to a Team (below the Enterprise Level), which provides that Team with access to a number of business features in Thnks.

This level is suitable for small to medium size companies.

Plan level feature details here.

Note: A Team can upgrade from Pro to Enterprise. Simply reach out to your team's account manager or support@thnks.com for more information.

Recipient

The person receiving a Thnks.

Redeemed

Redeemed is a point in a Transaction where the Thnks sent has either been accepted or donated by the Recipient. The Redeemed state occurs when the Recipient actually clicks on the 'Accept' or 'Give value to Charity' button on their Thnks.

Refund

A Refund occurs when an Account is refunded for certain amounts spent on the Platform for a Thnks that ultimately never reached the intended Recipient.

Refunds occur in two occasions:

1. When a Thnks is undelivered (i.e. a bounced email). In this case Thnks will credit the Customer for the entire value of the Thnks that was intended to be sent.

2. When a Thnks remains unopened after 30 days the value of the Thnks less the Transaction Fee is refunded back to the Customer's payment method used at the time of transaction. These refunds occur on the 10th of every month.

Reminder Email

A Reminder Email is an email that is sent via Thnks to recipients who have not Opened or Redeemed their Thnks. By default, reminder emails are sent on the 2nd, 15th and 25th day after the Thnks is sent. The first reminder email comes from felix@thnks.com, and the 2nd and final reminder come from reminders@thnks.com. Teams on the Pro Level or above have the option to customize when their reminders get sent or disable them altogether.

Required Field

A Required Field is an informational field that the sender must fill out before their Thnks can be sent. This can be turned on for specific Teams as requested by the Team Admin, and then can be populated in the analytics dashboards so that Team Admins can report on these fields.

'Say Thnks Back' Email

The 'Say Thnks Back', sometimes referred to as the 'Reply Back' email is an email that is generated automatically to a Recipient 20 minutes after they redeem their Thnks. It is a simple email that prompts the Recipient to say thank you back to their Sender.

If the Recipient responds through the Say Thnks Back email to thank their sender, Thnks will be able to record this response and display it in our analytics dashboards for reporting.

Spend Limit (For Teams)*
The Spend Limit is a feature for teams with a Pro Level subscription or higher. It allows the team administrator to control monthly spending by setting limits. Here’s how it works:

  • Monthly Reset: Spend Limits reset every month on the 1st at 12:00 AM CST.

  • Lock/Unlock Feature:Locked: Users can't spend beyond their limit. This helps control budget more strictly.

  • Unlocked: Users are warned if they’re about to exceed their limit but can decide to continue spending. This offers more flexibility.

  • Purpose: Helps manage the team's overall monthly budget and prevent overspending.

Spend Target (For Users)*
The Spend Target complements the Spend Limit for teams on the Pro Level or above. It focuses on individual user spending within a team. Here's what you need to know:

  • Monthly Reset: Like Spend Limits, Spend Targets reset on the 1st of every month at 12:00 AM CST.

  • Linked to Spend Limit: The enforcement of Spend Targets depends on the team's Spend Limit setting. If Spend Limit is Locked: Users cannot exceed their Spend Targets. This ensures tight budget control.

  • If Spend Limit is Unlocked: Users get a notification if they're about to go over their Spend Target but can opt to spend more. This allows individual discretion within the broader budget framework.

  • Purpose: Aims to give administrators the ability to set specific spending goals for each team member, promoting accountability and financial planning.

*This is not a representation of available funds (regarding a team balance).

Team Admin

A Team Admin is a User with an Account that allows them to control the Users, Spend Targets, compliance and other settings for their Team.

Team Dashboard

The Team Dashboard is a real-time reporting dashboard that populates for Team Users under https://app.thnks.com/#/analytics/admin This dashboard functions as a leaderboard to show Users under a Team their activity in real-time.

Only teams that are Pro Level or above will have access to this Team Dashboard.

Team User

A Team User is a User with an Account that is part of a specific Team. They are invited to join Thnks by a Team Admin.

Transaction Fee

Upon sending a Thnks, the User is charged the cost of the selected item plus the Transaction Fee of 20% (minimum $1, maximum $10) per each Thnks sent.

Web-hook

A Web-hook is a way for an app to provide other applications with real-time data. This data is sent based on a predefined trigger. Thnks uses Web-hooks both internally and externally to create different automated actions as a result of specific triggers. Example: Thnks is able to automatically send Thnks to survey respondents after they have completed a survey.
